what you can do with your family on boring day

Seeing family is really a precious moment, some more if they are loud and a bit crazy. A lot to catch up. But even that, if the time is so long, you might get bored in a way. To avoid that and maybe other crisis rising up, here what my family normally do. And mind you, we are really BIG and LOUD family, so if we don't have fun, we end up fighting or comparing each other's kid. That's why we cracking up with ideas..

1. Sing Karaoke and make a bit of a competition, I don't talk about normal competition, you have to act like you in American Idol or something, complete with bunch of judges that will comment.

2. Play water war, when people are talking, secretly splash them with water. Make it as crazy as you can, smear their face with charcoal or throw eggs on them. But...be ready to be attacked back!

3. Make a long line of finding frizzy or unruly hair or maybe grey hair!

Anyway, anyone that live near Subang Jaya, if u come across this cat please let me know ok.

My Daughter Is My Best Friend, Really!

damia and dhia

When i have her, I am still in university (read my first entry 5 years back here) and only 22 years old, I remember juggling studies and taking care of her. It was hard but it taught me to be strong. Daytime, i went to class and she, to babysitter, night I play with her until she sleep then i continued my study. Its tiring, but it makes me appreciate my life and my relationship with her. There was also time when I  make a fuss about her but it just my hormones talking, I love her to the deepest.
After I finished my study, I am between job, we don't have money. sometimes i have to leave her with my mom when I get a new job that required my full time and concentration. It hurt me so much, but its for the better, for both of us. I cried in my heart countless time, for the lack of time that I spent with her. But being a mom is not as easy as being a single girl. Every step that we take come with great consequences not only to us but to our kids. People judgement is always on us, of course they are few that wants to understand and help, but how far people can see the weight of the world on you.
Now, I am an Engineer, a career woman. I can get her education and good life. Yes I am a single parent but my love for her and her sister is enough for both of them. But one thing for sure, she walk the same path that i walk, be it a hard, bumpy and terrible or easy and smooth one. For that she know me well, for that she is the best young 5 years old girl ever and for that she is my BEST FRIEND.

:: momma knows best ::

Momma still pretty at her 50

Been wanting to publish this post for so long but time is my worst enemy so here for you momma on your b'day.

1. Momma is fierce, if we off limit,
- she caned us
- she chillied our mouth (for swearing)
- she rubbed the coconut shells on our mouth (for swearing again)
but then when we grow up we know not to cross the line.

2. Momma likes to dress up, and make sure we all girls do the same, she said a wife must look attractive on husband eyes.

3. Momma let us be ourselves. When we make choice even if it is a mistakes, she let us because she said human learned best from their own mistakes. It is called experience.

4. Momma knows us well. If someone talk bad about us, she listens but never take it seriously because she knows us well and will trust our judgement.

Love you, momma.
